In July 2020 Nissan revealed their first new logo in 20 years, alongside the exciting launch of the brand’s first all-electric crossover SUV, the Nissan Ariya. The Nissan Ariya digital world premiere was an end-to-end customer experience, revealing the new Nissan brand combined with the car launch, giving insight into the company's future vision within the automotive industry. 

Sought to connect the brand’s heritage with the digital world, the new era of Nissan was aimed at connecting exceptional technology and customer experience into one seamless narrative. 

With the work created for this launch, it was time to work with Nissan and build the framework for this new brand, and this was the catalyst in creating a Global Design System.
